Dove Partners to Improve Self-Esteem

Dove is on a mission to create a world where beauty is a source of confidence not anxiety and to help improve the self-esteem of girls and women so they can reach their full potential in life. So far, in Australia & New Zealand we’ve reached over 720,000 young people with Dove Self-Esteem workshops run in partnership with the Butterfly Foundation. Dove is now the number one provider of self-esteem esteem education in the world.

In 2016 we partnered with one of Australia’s biggest supermarkets, Coles to raise awareness of the body image challenges young people face and highlight to parents what their kids are searching for online. The campaign was launched online, through TV and with displays in 700 Coles supermarkets nationwide. Together we reached over 55,000 young people in the month of August alone. Downloads of our online self-esteem training guide increased by 550% and at the same time Dove skin cleansing sales grew by 12% in Coles.

“Dove has a very strong purpose to build self-esteem and body confidence and for me it’s such an inspirational brand to work on because you see the real difference we can make. With 6 out of 10 girls telling us the way they look holds them back from participating in activities like sport and even putting their hand up in class, the Dove Self Esteem Project is helping the next generation of women develop a positive relationship with the way they look.”
