How to redeem offer
1. Consumers must purchase any two (2) Lipton Ice Tea products (“Participating Products”) from participating Woolworths and Safeway stores, excluding Woolworths and Safeway Home Shop and Caltex Woolworths or Caltex Safeway co-branded outlets, in one transaction during the promotional period and register their claim at www.lipton.com.au/woolworths
2. For clarification, multipack products are a Participating Product only to the extent they qualify as one (1) single Lipton Ice Tea product. Any entries made using individual products from a multipack will be ineligible.
3. Consumers will be required to enter their details including postal address, email, contact telephone number, the last 4 digits from each of the two (2) Participating Lipton Ice Tea Product barcodes as well as the Woolworths or Safeway receipt number. All fields are mandatory to be eligible to claim a free Lipton Ice Tea glass.
4. Consumers can claim up to six (6) glasses per household providing each claim is accompanied by proof of purchase (in the form of the Woolworths or Safeway store receipt) of two (2) Lipton Ice Tea products per claim within the offer period. A household will be defined by postal address, email address and phone number. For example; 12 Lipton Ice Tea products can be purchased on the one receipt and the consumer can claim 6 glasses using the one receipt number.
5. Offer period commences 08/02/10 and ends 07/03/10 (“Offer Period”), or while stocks last. Claims will be accepted until 5:00pm 10/03/10, however all purchases must be made within the Offer Period and the offer is strictly limited to the first 50,000 valid claims received.
6. Consumers can also enter via mail, writing their details on a piece of paper, including postal address, email, contact telephone number, the last 4 digits from each of the two (2) Participating Lipton Ice Tea Product barcodes as well as the Woolworths or Safeway receipt number. All details are mandatory to be eligible to claim a free Lipton Ice Tea glass. All mail entries must be posted to: Lipton Ice Tea Free Glass Promotion, PO Box 623, Eastern Suburbs Mail Centre, NSW, 2004, at the consumer’s own expense.
Terms & conditions
1. Information on how to claim forms part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Offer is only open to residents of Australia who complete the purchase and claim requirements. The Offer period commences 08/02/10 and closes 07/03/10 (“Offer Period”), or while stock lasts. Claims will be accepted until 5:00pm 10/03/10, however, all purchases must be made within the Offer Period.
3. Consumers must provide all information requested on the promotional website in order to receive their free Lipton Ice Tea glass. Consumers can claim at www.lipton.com.au/woolworths
4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time during or after the closing date of the offer, to verify the validity of claims and to disallow any claims from an entrant who tampers with the claim process or who submits a claim that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions. Failure of the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
5. Consumers may claim up to 6 glasses per household providing each claim is accompanied by proof of purchase of two (2) Lipton Ice Tea products. Proof of purchase for every entry submitted, in the form of a Woolworths or Safeway store receipt and product barcodes must be detailed on the claim form on the promotional website when making a claim.
6. Entrants must retain a copy of the Woolworths or Safeway store receipt/s for all claims as proof of purchase. Failure to produce proof of purchase for all claims when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of all of an entrant’s claims and a forfeiture of any right to a glass
7. Prize pool consists of 50,000 Lipton Ice Tea branded glasses, valued at RRP $4.00 each. Total prize pool is valued at $200,000.00 including GST
8. The free gift is a single drinking glass with Lipton Ice Tea logo. Please allow up to 28 days for postage and handling of the free gift, from the time of successful redemption.
9. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incomplete claims. All such claims will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. 10. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this promotion except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from acceptance of the free gift. Independent financial advice should be sought.
12. The free gift, or any unused portion of the free gift, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless specified otherwise.
13. In the event that a free gift is not available despite the Promoter’s reasonable endeavours to procure the free gift, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a free gift of equal recommended retail value, subject to any written directions from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the free gift.
15. The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with taking the free gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion subject to any written directions from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
17. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by the telephone or internet user or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this promotion, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this promotion including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network failure, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or website, software failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries and any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any materials in the promotion. If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to technical failures, unauthorised intervention, fraud or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the claim process, and, subject to any written directions given by a relevant Regulatory Authority, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
18. Claimants consent to the Promoter using the claimants name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
19. The Promoter reserves the right to request claimants to provide proof of age, identity and residency at the nominated free gift delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter.
20. All claim information becomes the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects claimants’ personal information in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the claimant may not participate in the promotion. By claiming in this promotion, unless otherwise advised, each claimant also agrees that the Promoter may use this information, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, payment or other compensation to the claimant, including sending the claimant electronic messages. Claimant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and claimants’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation.
