For your chance to win purchase, in a single transaction, one female and one male Dove product from any participating Metcash-supplied store nationally during the promotional period and enter the promotion.

Terms & conditions

1. Information on how to enter and the prize forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating Metcash-supplied stores and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

3. Promotion commences at 9:00am AEDST on 04/01/2012 and ends for purchases at close of business on 23/01/2012 (“Promotional Period”).

4. To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase, in a single transaction, one (1) female and one (1) male Dove product from any participating Metcash-supplied store nationally during the Promotional Period.

5. To enter, individuals must obtain and complete an entry form available from the participating Metcash-supplied store in which the purchase was made, including answer to the question “ Tell us in 25 words or less why you'd love to win a Dove tennis clinic with Pat?” and send the completed entry form together with their original receipt to ‘Dove Metcash Summer of Tennis Promotion’, PO Box 276, Brookvale, NSW 2100 so that it is received by last mail on 24/01/2012.

6. It is the responsibility of the individual to request an entry form if they do not initially receive one with in-store.

7. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

8. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

9. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one (1) entry permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry must be substantially unique; and (c) each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

10. Judging will take place at Handling Matters, 1/3 Green Street Brookvale NSW 2100 on 27/01/2012 from 3:00pm AEDST. The Promoter may judge additional reserve entries and record them in order of merit in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is judged the major prize winner. The major prize winner will be notified in writing. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on the literary and creative merit and originality of the answer provided to the question.

12. The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will win the major prize of a four (4) hour Tennis Clinic Session with Pat Rafter for themselves and a companion, in either Sydney or Melbourne, to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.  This prize includes economy return airfares and transfers for two (2) from the winner’s nearest capital city to either Sydney or Melbourne (if required), twin share accommodation for one (1) evening at a five (5) star hotel in Sydney or Melbourne and $500 spending money. 

13. Any ancillary costs associated with taking the major prize are not included.

14. If the winner is from the same state as where the Tennis Clinic Session is being held, then the major prize does not include airfares or transfers and the airfare and transfers component of the major prize is not transferable for cash. Additional spending money, meals, insurance, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included.

15. The major prize must be taken to coincide with Pat Rafter’s availability and must be taken within twelve (12) months of the winner’s announcement and is subject to booking and flight availability.

16. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the major prize. The major prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The major prize winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.

17. If for any reason the major prize winner does not take the major prize (or an element of the major prize) at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the major prize (or that element of the major prize) will be forfeited and will not be redeemable for cash.

18. If the major prize (or part of the major prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the major prize (or that part of the major prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification.

 
19. Total prize pool value is up to $12,000 Major prize, or any unused portion of  the major prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

20. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are the major prize winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

21. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.

22. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.

23. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) if for any reason Pat Rafter is unable to conduct the Clinic for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (f) any tax liability incurred by  the major prize winner or an entrant; or (g) use of the major prize.

24. As a condition of accepting the major prize, the major prize winner (and their companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form. 

25. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
