This is a new generation of concentrated powder detergents – they are 2x concentrated. The 2x concentration means that the laundry powder can deliver the same cleaning performance at half the dose per wash, therefore the dosing scoop is smaller. This means the pack is half the weight but you get the same number of washes as before, making it easier to handle and lighter to carry. This move is a result of our commitment to improving the environmental impact of our products. It reduces the amount of packaging used per wash.

If you own a front loader use Persil Front Loader Sensitive laundry detergent.

Persil laundry powders and Persil Small and Mighty laundry liquids contain optical brighteners. These are ingredients which help to make fabrics look 'whiter and brighter'. The majority of laundry detergents contain optical brighteners. Note: Optical brighteners (OBAs) are also called fluorescers or fluorescent whitening agents (FWAs).

Using too little detergent causes poor soil and stain removal, greying of whites and soil build-up in the machine. Using too much detergent is uneconomical and increases the risk of over-foaming and thus poor rinsing of clothes.

The term 'biological' is a European term used to inform consumers when a product contains enzymes. Products without enzymes are termed 'non-biological'. Persil Top Loader,  Persil Aloe Vera and Persil Front Loader laundry detergents are 'biological' as they contain enzymes. If you are looking for a non-biological product use Persil Top Loader Sensitive or Persil Front Loader Sensitive laundry detergent.

We recommend using Persil Front Loader or Persil Sensitive Front Loader laundry detergents. (Persil To Loader laundry detergents are not suitable for use in front loading washing machines.)
