Hugo van Santen

Hugo joined Unilever in 1999 working for the Ice Cream factory in Gloucester, UK. From 2000-07 he worked for Unilever Netherlands in various Finance and Sales roles, including Business Unit Controller and Category Manager for the Spreads business and new categories including Dairy and Bread. Hugo also led the Customer Development Finance and Operations team for Unilever Netherlands after the merger of Unilever's Foods, HPC and Ice Cream businesses. 

From 2007-10 he was based in the Head-Office in London as head of Financial Planning and Analysis, where he built an Analytics team and looked after Unilever's management accounting and reporting teams, and he led a broad simplification agenda for finance. Since 2011 he is happy to be in Australasia as Vice President Finance. He is living in Sydney with his wife and 3 young children. 

Hugo studied Business Administration at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam with a Masters in Management Accounting.
