Our focused approach allows us to provide maximum value to our not-for profit partners, but means we direct all our support to them and are unable to support additional requests for donations. Our partnerships are well established and we are currently not seeking to establish any new alliances. Learn about the work Unilever is doing in the community.
Distributing our food & grocery products to the community
Foodbank Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that distributes food and grocery donations to welfare agencies. It is the largest hunger relief organisation in the country. We give financial support and donate food, personal care items and household goods to Foodbank for distribution throughout the community. Unilever regularly participates in staple food supply projects coordinated by Foodbank with a team of other food, packaging and distribution companies, via donations of food and financial assistance. The strength of industry-wide collaboration maximises the impact of our donations and that of our peers. Foodbank’s expertise in logistics and established relationship with 2,500 welfare agencies right around the country means that we know our donations will reach the areas of greatest need. Unilever is proud to support Foodbank in its role as the pantry of the welfare sector. As we have an agreement to provide donations to Foodbank exclusively and this is our preferred method of donating product, we are unable to support other requests for product donation. Sponsorship
Unilever as a corporate entity has a policy of no sponsorship, however from time to time our brands may decide to sponsor certain organisations or events. Note that brand plans are usually finalised well in advance so if you would like to contact us with a sponsorship request, remember to allow sufficient time for consideration of your request.
